Michael Heizer - Double Negative

Michael Heizer - Double Negative (1969). The work consists of a long trench in the earth in Moapa Valley, Nevada. It’s 30 feet (9.1 m) wide, 50 feet (15 m) deep, and 1,500 feet (460 m) long, created by the displacement of 240,000 tons of earth.
